Purple unicorn, Felted

Needle-felted unicorn, purple and pink in 100% wool. There is historical evidence to suggest that the Vikings invented the concept of unicorns, perhaps to sell narwhal tusks of mythological origin. The oldest known depiction of a unicorn is from a drinking horn found in Ireland.

All our felted animals are free from plastic materials and dyed with lightfast, water-based, non-toxic dye. The animals are felted by hand using natural soap and warm water. The stuffing is also 100% wool.

Nordlys takes responsibility all the way. Our dolls are felted in collaboration with ethical businesses and social projects in Nepal. Through the craftsmanship, we support the financial independence of women from Nepal's most vulnerable groups.
