Viking scissors with ski, British islands. Blunted Egg

 This handmade scissors or scissors was one of the Vikings’ favorite weapons and has a time typical handmade leather slide. The model is based on British findings of this type of long one-egged combat knives. Cavel in polished box. Set, button and ring in brass. The slide is typical of the Viking Age and has two eyelets for the belt, the knife then hangs horizontally on the front or back of the body.

The clinga is handmade in carbon steel and hardened with oil and then applied in a traditional way. The blade is marked with Nordly’s “switch mark” so you can be sure that the scissors come from our forge.
