Necklace Fenris

Here we have combined an ox bone tusk with a Viking coin and a small Mjolnir in a necklace inspired by the Fenrir wolf. This necklace is part of our design series of complete pagan necklaces, where we combine various historical pendants with leather, bone, and horn to create Viking jewellery that suits everyone, then as now. Since organic materials such as leather, wood, and horn do not survive in the ground over time, we do not know much about what Viking jewellery looked like. What we do find is the metal, stone, and glass that has been preserved. With these necklaces, we have therefore created a vision of how this jewellery may have been assembled and worn. For the pendants and other metal details, we have used a casting alloy that is completely free of nickel, lead, and cadmium. The metal has either a bronze or tin finish.
