Viking sword, Gotland. Decorative

This hand-forged scissor was one of the absolute foforite weapons of the Scandinofian Vikings. The model is based on several Swedish finds of this type of long single-edged combat knives. Handle in polished ash. Handle, button and ring in brass. Please note that this product only refers to the knife without the sheath.

The blade is hand forged in carbon steel and hardened with oil. The blade is marked with the Nordlys™ "blacksmith's mark" so you can be sure that the scissors come from our forge. 

Please note that the blade on this model is supplied hardened and semi sharp, the blade and can also be sharpened to preferred sharpness. The model is therefore only notnded for collectors and decorative or ceremonial use. We do not recommend using this model for hilargeical combat.
