Viking scissors, Gotland. Semi sharp

This handmade scissors was one of the absolute favorite weapons of the Scandinavian Vikings. The model is based on several Swedish findings of this type of long one-edged combat knives. Handle in polished box. Set, button and ring in brass. 

The clinga is handmade in carbon steel and hardened with oil and then applied in a traditional way. The blade is marked with Nordly’s “switch mark” so you can be sure that the scissors come from our forge. 

Note that the blade on this model is delivered hardened and semi sharply, the blade and can also be sharpened to preferred sharpness. The model is intended only for collectors and decorative or ceremonial use. We do not recommend using this model for historical struggle.
