Western Viking bracelet

In this design, a wide, flat leather strap forms the base of the bracelet. We have then bound green natural yarn, a natural fibre thread, and a braided reddish-brown leather cord onto this strap. This gives a composite impression, but with a splash of colour to liven it up. The closure is adjustable and consists of a braided leather cord that can be tied to the desired length.

Length/size is adjustable between 19-31 cm in circumference.

The piece of jewellery is part of a series of leather bracelets designed by us at Nordlys, where we have drawn inspiration from the Vikings. Very little leather remains from the Viking Age, so in the absence of finds, we have designed our own collection of Nordic bracelets in a pagan style. We have created a historical feel that suits the "modern" Viking. The metal is nickel- and cadmium-free. All leather is genuine, vegetable-tanned cow and ox leather.
